6.1       SOLUTION PREPARATION :

6.1.1    Put 15litre HCL in 20 litre water in a container and mix it for Cation Charging

6.1.2    Put 5 kg NAOH in 20 litre water in a container and mix it for Anion Charging.

6.1.3    Put 10 litre HCL and 3kg NAOH  in 20 litre water in a container and mix it for Mix Bed Charging.

6.2 CATION BED CHARGING:

6.2.1       Put the handle of multi-port valve of cation bed on slow rinse.

6.2.2      Open the inlet valve for HCL suction.

6.2.3      Start the RO water feed pump.

6.2.4      Rinse the bed for 5 minutes on slow rinse position/mode.

6.2.5      Stop the RO water feed pump.

6.2.6      Put the handle of multi-port valve on fast rinse.

6.2.7      Start the RO water feed pump.

6.2.8     Rinse the bed for 15 to 20 minutes on fast rinse position/mode.

6.2.9     Stop the RO water feed pump.

6.2.10    Put the handle of multi port valve on service mode /position.

6.3    ANION BED CHARGING:

6.3.1     Put the handle of multi-port valve of bed on slow rinse.

6.3.2     Open the inlet valve for NAOH suction.

6.3.3      Start the RO water feed pump.

6.3.4      Rinse the bed for 5 minutes on slow rinse position/mode.

6.3.5      Stop the RO water feed pump.

6.3.6      Put the handle of multi-port valve on fast rinse.

6.3.7      Start the RO water feed pump.

6.3.8      Rinse the bed for 30 to 35 minutes on fast rinse position/mode.

6.3.9      Stop the RO water feed pump.

6.3.10    Put the handle of multi port valve on service mode /position.

6.4      MIX BED CHARGING:

6.4.1     Put the handle of multi-port valve of mix bed on slow rinse.

6.4.2    Open the inlet valve for HCL suction.

6.4.3     Start the RO water feed pump.

6.4.4      Rinse the bed for 5 minutes on slow rinse position/mode.

6.4.5       Stop the RO water feed pump.

6.4.6      Put the handle of multi-port valve on fast rinse.

6.4.7      Start the RO water feed pump.

6.4.8     Rinse the bed for 15 to 20 minutes on fast rinse position/mode.

6.4.9     Stop the RO water feed pump.

6.4.10  Put the handle of multi port valve on service mode /position.

6.4.11   After charging of cation, anion and mix bed, open the outlet valve of drain.

6.4.12   Start the RO water feed pump and drain the water until required conductivity is not achieved.

6.8      As the required conductivity is achieved, close the drain valve and open the inlet valve of purified storage tank.
